FEEDING HILLS -Henry Peter Waniewski, 88 of Feeding Hills, died surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 14th, 2011. He was the son of the late Alexander and Alexandra (Kozikowski) Waniewski, and lived in Feeding Hills for his entire life, graduating from Agawam High School in 1942. For the past 65 years he owned and operated Waniewski Farms, in Feeding Hills. He was well known for his Turkey Pies and Kielbasa. Henry was a charter member of the Polish American Club of Agawam, and was well-liked by his friends and those in the local community. He always had a good joke or a story to share. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Clara (Midura) Waniewski, loving father of Henry Paul Waniewski of Feeding Hills and Karen White and her husband Gerald and "Papa" to two granddaughters, Casey and Vanessa White all of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. Henry was predeceased by brothers, Michael, Matthew, and Julian, and sisters, Jennie Juzba, Louise Shelanskas and Jean Nacewicz. Henry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially those who enjoyed his seeing him when shopping at Waniewski Farms. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 10:00am with Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church at 11:00am followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery.
