Howard A. Light Jr., 73, passed away on Monday at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Detroit, MI, son of the late Howard A. Sr. and Lorraine (Carriel) Light. Howard was a 47 year employee of All Star Dairy Foods. He leaves his wife Karen (Gutowski) Light, his daughter Danielle Light of Agawam, his son Dana Light of Granby, his brother Peter Light and wife Patricia of Belchertown, sisters-in-law Paula Covino of North Grafton, Joanne Sypek and partner Rob Polverari of West Springfield and Lisa Kulha and partner Steve Sanger of Parker, CO, brother-in-law John Covino of Jamaica Plains and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service for Howard will be Saturday at 4:30 pm at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley. Calling hours will precede the service on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:30 pm. The Celebration of Life will continue at 5 pm at Johnny's Tap Room in South Hadley.
