Ida Berti-Reid

AGAWAM-Ida M. (Palombella) Berti-Reid, 94, died Wednesday at home. She was born in West Springfield and lived there most of her life. She was a communicant of the former St. Ann's Church and was a longtime member and past president of the Springfield Italian Women's Club. She was predeceased by her first husband Guido "Guy" L. Berti and her second husband Frank E. Reid. Ida leaves her daughter Sherryl Berti and her husband William Harrington of New York City, two step-daughters Anna Reid of West Springfield and Margaret DesRochers of Palmer, a step-son Frank Reid of Rome, NY, several step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Monday at 12 noon at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by committal services at the Mass Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
