WEST SPRINGFIELD-Ida S. (Berman) Orr, 63, died Wednesday in Baystate Medical Center. She was born and grew up in Springfield and has lived in West Springfield since 1977. She worked as a bookkeeper for Phil's Beverage & Equipment and was very active in Greyhound Rescue. She also volunteered at the MSPCA. She leaves her husband Frank W. Orr III, a son Michael R. of Boston, a step-son Frank W. Orr IV of Portland, ME, a brother George Berman of Springfield and a sister Phyllis Evans of East Longmeadow. The calling hours at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home will be Sunday from 2-5 pm. A graveside service will be Monday at 11 am in Paucatuck Cemetery.
