Imelda May "Mona" (Marsian) Murphy, 83, died Friday April 17 ^th at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Kurt and Alice Marsian and was predeceased by her brother Karl Marsian and sister Julie Ann Marsian. She leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend of 60 years William James Murphy, daughter Dorothea Murphy and her children Shawn Roberge, Alyson Roberge and partner Kevin Estrada and great granddaughter Everly Mae, son Kevin Murphy and his wife Patricia and their children Brendan Murphy and his partner Regina Burns and Brittany Murphy and her partner Daniel O'Grady and son Kurt Murphy and his wife Carol and their children Sarah Murphy, Emily Murphy and Andrew Murphy Fila. She was a hairdresser for 45 years and enjoyed talking with people. She also enjoyed vacations with her family at the beach, playing Bingo and going to the casino. She will be sadly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. Funeral and burial arrangements are entrusted to Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home and will be announced and take place at a later date.
