West Springfield-Irene B. Germano, 83 passed away peacefully Monday morning in Agawam's Heritage Hall nursing home. She was born May 5, 1932 in Springfield, MA and had two sisters Beverly and Joyce. For 30 years she worked at Talon-American Thread Company. Her passion was cooking and spending time with loved ones. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren's sporting events. Irene is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond F. Germano of West Springfield, two sons Richard and Robert, and seven grandchildren. A private funeral will be held for family only. West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
