Irene Prest, 88, entered eternal rest on March 7 surrounded by her loving family. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 Years, Valmore Prest. Irene was born in Westfield. The youngest of 10 children to the late Julius Juknevicz and Louise Miskoskos. She lived in Westfield all her life and worked with the Westfield Police Department as a school crossing guard for 37 years. She was stationed at Prospect Hill School and Holy Trinity school. She was a long-time communicant of St Casmir's Church. Irene and Valmore belonged to the Westfield Boys and Girls Club Noodlers program. She leaves a son Mark Prest and daughter Valerie Baker and her husband David, six grandchildren Mark Jr., Matt and wife Jeannie, Mike and his wife Julie, and Mitch Prest. Brian and Jeffrey Baker and two great grandchildren, Caleb Prest and Nora Prest. A private service will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
