Irene L. Scalise, 82, passed away Dec. 11, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug 17, 1943 to the late Harold and Frances Morgan. Irene grew up in West Springfield and graduated from West Springfield High School. She later moved to Agawam to raise a family with her husband Bob.  Together they started ILS Business Services, which they successfully owned and operated for over 30 years.  Irene enjoyed spending time with her family and supporting her daughters in their endeavors.  Not only was she on the sidelines cheering, she was always an active supporter by volunteering her time in the organizations.   Irene enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her daughters and extended family. She was a communicant of the former Church of the Good Shepherd.  Irene was loved by her family very much.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert on Nov. 14, 2022. Irene leaves her loving daughters; Jennifer Scalise-Marinofsky and husband David and grandson Shane of Framingham, MA and Amy Scalise of W. Spfld and her dogs Rondo & Alice.  In addition to her husband Robert, she was also predeceased by her brother Peter Morgan.  Irene is also survived by her sister-in-law Linda Morgan; brother-in-law Russell Scalise and his partner Jolene Bergeron; sister-in-law Karen Scafuri and husband Michael and her nieces, nephews and their families.  Calling Hours will be held FRIDAY from 10 to 11:30 AM followed by an 11:30 Funeral Service at the CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME ,109 MAIN ST., W. SPFLD. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Parker St., Spfld. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Irene's name to the T.J.
