Irving R. Lowell, 81, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 26, 2015. Born in Cornwall, VT, son of the late Norman and Kathleen (Faye) Lowell, he lived in Feeding Hills for many years. Irving was the owner, along with his wife and son, for over thirty years of the former Liberty Radio & TV in Springfield. He was an avid race car enthusiast, owning his own race car and enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was also an army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a communication officer. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Barbara A. (Piscor) Lowell, a son, Alan R. Lowell of Feeding Hills, a sister, Leona Roberts of Monson, and a granddaughter, Nicole Dumas of Chicopee. The service will be Thursday at 1pm in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street. There are no calling hours. The AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME is in charge.
