Obituary

James "Jamie" M. Feyre, 64, entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love and affection of his family on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center.  He was born in Holyoke on March 29, 1961. Jamie was one of the quadruplets of the late Raymond J. and Mary Gertrude (Sullivan) Feyre. He grew up in Holyoke and was a 1979 graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School.  He also attended Johnson and Wales College in Rhode Island. Jamie worked for forty years for the United States Postal Service.  His lifetime devotion was to his wife, two children and extended family. Although Jamie moved to Agawam when he married, he never lost sight of his Irish roots in the city of Holyoke. If you were close enough to him, you witnessed his unrelenting humor, were lucky enough to have an "Uncle Jamie Story," and the privilege of calling him "Kegger." He enjoyed cross country, track, softball and was a coach for Agawam Little League.  He was an avid Mets, Jets, Bruins and Notre Dame Football fan, a member of the Holyoke Elks, the Knights of Columbus Council 4044 in Chicopee, and the Sons of Erin.  Jamie loved nature, traveling, reading, attending sports games with his sons and vacationing at his home in Old Lyme Shores.  He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Mary Feyre and parents-in-law, James and Shirley Falleti. He was also predeceased by his sister, Christine M. Dow, his brother-in-law Shaun P. Bresnahan and nieces and nephews, David, Laura and Lisa Feyre. He leaves his wife of thirty-three years, Gina M. (Falleti) Feyre, two sons, Ryan J. Feyre of Agawam, Connor P. Feyre of Brooklyn, NY, five brothers, Raymond H. (Susan) Feyre of Holyoke, Thomas C. (Susan) Feyre of North Reading, MA, John J. Feyre of Agawam, Robert J. (Robin) Feyre, Michael C.
