Jane M. (Zuchowicz) O'Brien, 84, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Born in West Springfield, daughter of the late Mitchell and Lena (Lyncosky) Zuchowicz, she was a lifelong resident of West Springfield. Jane retired from the John R. Lyman Company and was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She enjoyed trips to the Casino and visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Thomas J. O'Brien died in 2006 and a son, Thomas "Tomack" O'Brien died in 1974. She leaves two daughters, Dorothy Krieger and her husband Robert, Debbie Prova and her husband David all of Agawam, four grandchildren, Craig Krieger and his wife Page, Sandy Krieger, Andrea Hearn and her husband, Chris, Joe Prova, two great-grandchildren, Colleen and Alice, a brother, Theodore Zuchowicz of Oxnard, CA, a sister, Shirley Sibilia of Pompano Beach, FL, and several nephews and nieces, including a special niece, Judy Ciaschini of West Springfield. The funeral will be Monday at 6pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street. The burial will be private. Calling hours will precede the service on Monday from 4-6pm.
