West Springfield - Jane M. (Augusti) Shulman, 75, formerly of Ohio Avenue in West Springfield died peacefully Wednesday morning at Agawam Healthcare.  Jane was born on October 28, 1944, in Springfield to Claude B. Augusti and Theresa G. (Albano) Augusti.  She graduated from West Springfield High School and Bay Path Junior College.  She had a long career as a legal secretary.  Jane will be remembered for her compassion for animals, her infectious laugh, and her creative mind, which she expressed through decorating, entertaining, cooking, and her talent for making countless beautiful silk flower arrangements and wreaths.  She was predeceased by her husband, Murray Shulman, and her brother, Richard Augusti.  Jane is survived by her daughter, Theresa A. Rivers, and son-in-law, John F. Rivers, of West Springfield, and her granddaughter, Haley L. Rivers of West Springfield, who was the absolute light of her life.  She also leaves her brother Ronald Augusti, and his wife Terese, of Feeding Hills, as well as many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank Agawam Healthcare for their kind and loving care.  A private graveside service will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Dakin Humane Society, P.O.
