Janice P. Carabetta

1945 – 2022

Springfield – Janice P. Carabetta, 77, was called safely home on Monday, April 25. Janice was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Dominic and Stella (Rusinowski) Carabetta and has lived there for her entire life. She was a retired Personal Care Assistant for the former Springfield Municipal Hospital. Janice enjoyed traveling, time at the casino and giving gifts or sending cards to brighten the lives of her family and friends. Janice found joy in the small,  simple aspects of life.  She leaves her nephew Frederick Baker Jr. and his fiancé Sherri as well as her dear niece Darcy Andre and her husband Chad along with her great nephews Nico, Vincenzo and Emilio.  In addition to her parents,  Janice was predeceased by her sister Marlene Baker and her brother-in-law Fred Baker. Her funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday, May 2 ^nd at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.
