Jason Lopez, 49, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at home.  Born in Springfield, he was a graduate of Fermi High School in Enfield and lived in Springfield most of his life.  Jason graduated with an Associate Degree from Springfield Technical Community College in X-Ray Technology and worked as an X-Ray Technician at Baystate Medical Center.  Jason was also an Air Force Veteran.  He leaves two sons, Jason Lopez, II of Newport News, VA, Jaiden Lopez of West Springfield, his mother, Carmen Natal of Springfield, his father, Ismael Rios of Florida, and two brothers, Ismael A. Rios of Arkansas and Fernando Sanchez of Springfield.  Calling hours are Friday from 9-11am at Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield with a Funeral Home Service at 11.
