WEST SPRINGFIELD – Jean E. (Lenville) Bernier Alajanian, 93, died Sunday in a local nursing home. Jean was born in West Springfield and has lived here most of her life. She moved to Agawam eight years ago. She was a retired employee of General Fiber Box. Her first husband Robert Bernier died in 1994, her second husband George Alajanian died in 1981 and a son George Bernier died in 2000. She leaves a daughter Gail Tassinari of Hemet, CA; a son Ronald Bernier of Texas; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held in Springfield Street Cemetery and the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
