Jean Ann Beusee

West Springfield - Jean Ann Beusee, 81, died peacefully on August 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Jean, the daughter of the late John and Mary Dooley, was born in Springfield on February 11, 1943.  She was a graduate of the former Cathedral High School and has lived in West Springfield for the past 60 years. A retired Travel Consultant, Jean worked for Carroll Travel and enjoyed many adventures seeing the world. A former member of the Ramapogue Women's Club, she also loved spending the winters with her husband in Bradenton, Florida. Her husband of 60 years, Roy "Joe" Beusee, died in 2023. She leaves her children Michele Hoey and her husband Glenn and Roy Beusee II and his partner Laurie Hines; three grandchildren Rachel Beusee-Kauffman, Jordan and Chelsea Hoey. She also leaves her two sisters Marilyn Berrett and Carol Slasinski and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 11:00am at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
