Jean A. Biuso

1960 – 2025

West Springfield – Jean A. (St. Martin) Biuso, 65, died peacefully at home Tuesday evening surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Norman and Ann (Maloney) St. Martin, and has lived in West Springfield her entire life.  Jean was a 1979 graduate of West Springfield High School, where she was a standout Softball player. She started her career with the family business, CDT Micrographics, retired to raise her children and more recently went back to work as an administrative assistant for New Hope Book Works in West Springfield. She was a pool shark as a member of the Tatham Memorial Club, played in softball leagues, loved golf, was an active reader, and enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with her dog Tanner.  Jean leaves her husband of 37 years Jay Biuso; three sons, Bryan Biuso and his wife Samantha, Eric Metivier and his girlfriend Jannette Delgado and Nicholas Biuso and his wife Alison; a grandson Micah; her siblings Diane St. Martin, Nancy Hosmer and Bob St. Martin. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Derek St. Martin.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday, November 9th at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home from 2:00 –5:00pm.  Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Thomas the Apostle Church for the Funeral Mass on Monday, November 10th at 11:00am followed by burial in Paucatuck Cemetery.  For more information and online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Sister Caritas Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center, 271 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
