Jean Brindle, affectionately known as "Toonie," passed away on February 21, 2025, in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 72. She was born on October 9, 1952, and lived her entire life in Agawam, Massachusetts, where she built a dedicated career at the Hampden County Civil Courthouse.
Graduating from Agawam High School class of 1970, she then attended McPherson College, McPherson, Kansas, then living in Gallup, New Mexico for a while. Toon"s favorite passions were outdoor activities including gardening, traveling, Cape Cod, golf, Tennis, hiking, and a good book.
Predeceased by her loving parents Richard and Marion (Graham) Brindle, she leaves her brothers, Richard S. Brindle (Kristi) of Castle Rock, Colorado, Graham Scott Brindle (Kathleen) of Longmeadow, MA, two sisters, Susan Brindle of Monson, MA, and Elsie Mallory (Wayne) of Agawam, MA.
She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, Eric Brindle (Brianna) of Billings, Montana, Adam Brindle (Kathryn) of Billings, Montana. Stephen Mallory of Agawam, MA, Kevin Mallory of Agawam, MA, Brooke Brindle of Longmeadow, MA, Erin Mallory of Agawam, MA, and Joseph Brindle (Rachel) of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jean's memory will be cherished by all who knew her, especially sister Susie's advocate and long time family member Michael Aguda.
May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
