Jean C. (Braica) Ceccarini, 97, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 15, 2024.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late James and Mary (Kirkpatrick) Braica, she moved to Agawam in 1948 and was previously a communicant of St. Anthony Church and presently a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.  She was predeceased by her husband, Renzo T. Ceccarini in 2010, a son, Paul Ceccarini in 2001, a son, Thomas Ceccarini in 2014, a grandson, Adam Ceccarini in 2015 and four siblings. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center for the excellent care that was given to Jean.  She leaves two sons, Stephen Ceccarini of Agawam, Mark and his wife Beth Ceccarini of Feeding Hills, a daughter and her husband, Mary Ceccarini-Avonti and Joseph Avonti of Southwick, a sister, Agnes DeLucchi of Agawam, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street, from 11:30am - 12:30pm followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Church at 1pm.
