Jean M. Ferree

1933 – 2017

East Longmeadow – Jean M. (Lynch) Ferree, 84, died Tuesday surrounded by her loving family.  Jean was born and raised in Springfield, lived in North Carolina before returning to East Longmeadow in the 1960's.  She worked in the Accounts Payable Department for 27 years at the former Sweet Life Foods in Windsor Locks, retiring in 1990.  She leaves her husband Stanton "Harry" Ferree Jr., a daughter Colette L. Nichols and her fiancé Leigh Catchepaugh; a grandson Bryan Nichols and many extended family members.  Jean was predeceased by a grandson Johnny Nichols in 2009 and her brother George.  Jean's family would like to thank the many helpers who cared for Jean over the years.  The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Noon followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Monday, August 21, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
