Jean D. (Albano) Hardy, died Monday, May 29, 2017.  Born in Springfield, she worked for the former Notion Thread in West Springfield, the H R Hunting Book Binding company and reitred in 1994 from the Springfield Home for the Eldery – Prius Mason Rest Home.  She loved watching oldies on TV, and enjoyed photography, writing in her journal, country music and spending time with her family.  The family would like to thank the staff of Western Massachusetts Hospice and Heritage Hall East for the wonderful care given to Jean.  She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Hardy.  She leaves a daughter and her husband, Maria A. and Robert Brodeur of Pittsfield, two step-sons, Mark and Jeffrey Hardty, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-greatgrandchildren.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert J. Albano and John G. Albano. A graveside service will be Thursday at 2pm at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield. The AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME is in charge.
