Jean F. (Duffy) Morganstern, 89, died Sunday in Life Care of Wilbraham. She was born in Springfield, daughter of the late John and Helen (McCarthy) Duffy and was a lifelong resident of Hungry Hill. Jean was an active member of Our Lady of Hope Church and Catholic Charities. She was sadly predeceased by her husband Red Morganstern in 2010 and her daughters Carol Sorensen in 2016 and Trisha Haggerty-Waterman in 2014. She leaves two sons Jack Morganstern and his wife Lynanne of Pawcatuck, CT and Jim Morganstern and his wife Lisa of Ft. Myers, FL and three grandsons Patrick Haggerty and Kyle and Brian Sorensen. Her family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at Life Care of Wilbraham, especially Margaret. The funeral will be Thursday at 9 am from West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Springfield at 10 am. Burial in Mass Veteran's Cemetery.
