Springfield, Jean M. (Baillieul) Smith, 85, died Thursday November 18, 2010 at Reeds Landing. She was born in Springfield and was a graduate of the former Springfield Technical High School. She moved to West Springfield in 1951 and married Alfred C. Smith. She worked in the insurance industry for many years including American Policy Holders and the Howard Teece Agency. Jean and her late husband Al were founding members of the Majestic Theatre in West Springfield. Al passed away in 2004. She leaves a sister-in-law, Bea Baillieul of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be private in Ashleyville Cemetery and the West Springfield Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the Majestic Theatre 131 Elm St. West Springfield, MA. 01089.
