Jeanette K.
Fuller
April 28, 1930 – July 4, 2021
Jeanette K. Fuller, 91, passed away on Sunday July 4 th , 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. Jeanette was born in Springfield, daughter of the late James and Jesse (Knowles) Harrison. She resided in West Springfield most of her life, where she raised her seven children. Jeanette loved spending time with her family and playing backgammon and cards. Jeanette was most known for 50 years of professional bowling. Her children fondly remember watching Candlepin bowling on TV every Saturday morning to root for their mom. Other than her time as a professional bowler and card-shark, Jeanette was fondly remembered for winning a tanning contest in Rhode Island. Some considered her an underdog against the young girls in Bikini's, but they underestimated Jeanette, as she won over the crowd and took home the trophy. Jeanette is predeceased by her 1 st husband, Robert Edwards, husband Earl "Bud" Fuller, and 2 sisters; Violet Pettit and Florence Jianaces. She leaves behind 2 daughters; Marci Richardson and husband Robert of Ellington, CT, and Diana Townsend and husband Larry of Ware, 3 sons; Mark Edwards and wife Cori of Florida, Donald Edwards of Northampton, and Lealon Edwards of Agawam, her dear friend Shirley Keeler of Windsor, CT, as well as many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life held for Jeanette at the convenience of the family. For more information please visit curranjones.com
