Jeanne D. (Belcher) Champigny, 77, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Bernard and Gladys (LaMountain) Belcher, she grew up in Southwick and was a graduate of Southwick High School.  Jeanne had worked as an administrative assistant for Casual Corner and previously worked at the former Buxton Company.  She lived in Agawam for many years and recently moved to West Springfield.  She enjoyed bird watching.  She leaves her husband of fifty-four years, Leodore A. Champigny, three sons, Leodore A. and his wife Leanne Champigny of Cummington, David P. and his wife Katherine Champigny of Agawam, Gerald C. Champigny of Springfield, three brothers, Mark Belcher of Springfield, Bernard Belcher of Myrtle Beach, SC, Barry Belcher of Agawam, three sisters, Eva Belcher of Agawam, Donna Lofgren of Springfield, Shirley Jewell of Cape Coral, FL, four grandchildren, Sarah Champigny, Austin Champigny, Lauren Champigny, Cooper Champigny, and nieces and nephews.  The service will be Friday at 3pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA.  The AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
