NEWPORT, RI -Jeannette (Cote) Bergeron, 97 formerly of Lewiston, ME died Friday at the Village House Nursing Home in Newport RI. She was born in Weedon, Canada the daughter of the late Willie and Tharcile (Hebert) Cote. She
was predeceased by her husband Ovila LeBlanc and second husband Arthur
Bergeron. She leaves two daughters, Vivian Labbe and husband Raymond of
Fla. and Portsmouth, RI. and Diane Nelson and husband Eugene of Nixa,
MO She was predeceased by her sisters Gilberte Landry, Rita Higgins,
Lorette Levasseur and brother Andre Cote. She also leaves five grandchildren, William and Paul Labbe Celeste Dugan Cheryl Massey, Mark Nelson, as well as 12 great grand children. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements. There are no calling hours. A memorial mass and celebration of her life will be held in St. Augustin's Church, Newport, on Friday September 9, 2011 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made
in her memory to the Village House 70 Harrison Ave, Newport, RI 02840.
