Jeannette G. "Jay" (Cardinale) Lagoditz, 88, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 9, 2016 in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Palmer, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Celentano) Cardinale, she grew up in the South End of Springfield and lived in Agawam for many years. She had worked as a clerk for the Town of Agawam and was a member of the Agawam Senior Center. Her husband, Paul Lagoditz died in 2012. She leaves a son, Keff T. Lagoditz of Westfield, a daughter, Melissa M. Guillmette of Agawam, and three grandchildren, Nicholas Lagoditz, and Michael and Joseph Cortese. The funeral will be Thursday at 11am in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam.
