Jeffrey A. Elkins, 68, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of the late Franklin and Sybil (Delk) Elkins, he lived in Agawam for over thirty years.  Jeffrey had worked for area lumber companies.  He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family. He could often be found in the kitchen cooking for those he loved. He also loved spending time with his faithful canine companion, Ellie.  He was an Air Force veteran during Operation Desert Storm and had attended the Agawam First Baptist Church.  He leaves his wife of forty-two years, Theresa M. (Emery) Elkins, a son, Ian J. Elkins, a daughter, Caroline T. Elkins, all of Agawam, two sisters, Wanda Bobbin of Conway, SC, Rose Ryals of South Carolina and extended family, including nieces and nephews.  A service will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 10am at the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be announced. The Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
