Jeffrey T. Hunter, 55, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at home. Born in Offutt, Nebraska, son of the late Frank and Barbara (McGlynn) Hunter, he lived most of his life in South Hadley.  Jeffrey worked for over thirty years at the Bulk Mail Center of the United States Postal Service in Springfield.  He was a sports enthusiast and an athlete in his younger days.  He was also an Eagle Scout, an Army veteran and a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.  He leaves two sons, Frank T. Hunter of South Hadley, Brandon R. Hunter of Castleton, VT, a daughter, Sarah E. King of Chicopee, three brothers, David Hunter and Andrew Hunter both of Chicopee, Bruce Hunter of South Hadley, two sisters, Margaret Buckley of South Hadley, Donna Archambeault of Ludlow, a grandson, Parker D. King and nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am at St. Patrick's Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley, MA. The burial will be private. Calling hours at the CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb Street are Thursday from 4-7pm.
