Jeffrey "Jeff" Roberts, passed away peacefully at home from complications related to underlying health issues. His beloved dog Ivy was found beside him.

Jeff was a lifelong resident of West Springfield. He was a simple man—kind, generous, and hardworking. Jeff was employed by the City of West Springfield for 25 years, serving as a custodian at Fausey Elementary and Middle School.

Jeff was predeceased by the love of his life, Jo-Anne (Samblin) Roberts, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage and 37 years of unwavering loyalty before her passing in June 2023. Together, they lived a quiet life filled with love and the companionship of many cherished fur babies over the years.

He was also predeceased by his parents, Robert Roberts and Frances Mastromatteo; his brother, William Roberts; and his niece, Dalin O'Connell.

Jeff is survived by his brother Timothy Roberts; his sister; aunts; uncle; cousins; nieces; and nephews. His niece and goddaughter, Samantha (Roberts) Mastromatteo, was his rock and support system following Jo-Anne's passing. They shared a special bond, and Samantha—along with Jeff's great-nephews, Jovani and Jason—were among the few people Jeff welcomed into his world.

Family and friends are invited to remember Jeff's caring soul on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street in West Springfield, from 11am-12noon with a eulogy at noon, followed by graveside services at St. Thomas Cemetery.
