Jenney (Skoczylas) Meade, 95, died Saturday at Care One Redstone in East Longemeadow. She was born in Enfield, CT, daughter of the late Wojciech  and Anna Skoczylas and was a longtime resident of West Springfield. Jenney was a member of Mittineague Congregational Church and enjoyed playing bridge in her younger days. After graduating high school, she served with WACS during WWII before working at Pratt and Whitney as a riveter. Jenney then went Comptometer school and worked for Associated Transport before retiring from Belmont Transportation as office manager. She was predeceased by her husband Wallace B. Meade Sr. in 1992. She leaves a son Wallace B. "Brad" Meade Jr. and his wife Liz of West Lebanon, NH, a granddaughter Jennifer Henderson and two great grandchildren Brody and Addison. The funeral service will be Saturday at 12 noon at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in Paucatuck Cemetery.
