Jerald M. Duffy, 73, passed away March 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving sister and children. He was born March 25, 1950 to the late Walter and Catherine Duffy. A lover of classic rock, Jerald (best known to his friends and family as Jerry) could tell you all about how Peter Frampton made his guitar talk. He also had some terrific dance moves that earned him a handful of dance tournament trophies over the years, most notably at the Lego Employee Picnic, a company he worked at as an accountant for many years. Jerry also served as president of the APICS business association. Jerry was an avid gardener, every summer supplying family, friends, neighbors and even the local soup kitchen with homegrown vegetables. A former softball coach as well, Jerry was a fan of the Celtics, Patriots and controversially, a little bit more of a Yankees fan than a Red Sox one. He was a big fan of the tv show Seinfeld, and regularly wished Larry David much success with whatever he did next. Jerry's favorite film director was Brian DePalma. Jerry leaves behind his loving sister Mary Duffy of Worcester, his son Michael Duffy and his wife Hilary also of Worcester, and his daughter Megan Duffy of Los Angeles, as well as two cat "grandchildren," Iris on his daughter's side and Boo on his son's side. Jerald was also predeceased by his brother Walter Duffy. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY at 12:30 PM at the CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 109 MAIN ST., W. SPFLD. Burial will follow in St.Thomas Cemetery, Kings Hwy, W. Splfd. A Calling Hour will be held MONDAY from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
