Joan E. (Wise) Manley, 80, died Wednesday at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. She was born in Virginia and has lived in West Springfield for the past 60 years. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the West Springfield Public Schools. Her husband William L. Manley died in 2006. She leaves her son William (Sonia) and, four daughters Debbie (Michael), Pam (Rick), Kathie and Laurie (Mike), two brothers Edward (MaryAnn) Wise of NC and Carl (Matilda) Wise of Florida, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Wise. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 am at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by committal services at the Mass Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
