Joanne M. (Meissner) Beltrandi, 86, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 25, 2024.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Walter A. and Jennie (Grondski) Meissner, she was a 1956 graduate of Agawam High School.  Joanne worked for over fifteen years as the director of the Agawam Housing Authority and retired as the executive director.  She was the organist at the former St. Anthony Church for over fifty years, for the former St. Theresa Church for five years and was presently the organist for funerals at St. Anne Church in Fairview for over fourteen years.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and did calligraphy on the Baptismal Certificates for the churches.  Her husband, John J. Beltrandi, Jr. died in 1982 and her brother, Walter A. Meissner in 2021. She leaves two sons and their wives, John J. III and Jeanne Beltrandi, Joseph J. and Mary Beltrandi both of Westfield, a daughter, Debra E. Brignoli and Jeffrey LaFountain of Feeding Hills, her twin sister, Barbara M. Nicora of Agawam, seven grandchildren, John "Jay" Beltrandi, IV, Jeremy Beltrandi, Janelle Fini, Anthony Brignoli, Joanne Brignoli, Nikki Beltrandi, Vincent Beltrandi, eight great-grandchildren, Delaney Beltrandi, Isabella Fini, Adriana Fini, Kendall Beltrandi, Danica Fini, Jenna Brignoli, Bentley Beltrandi, Quinn Beltrandi and many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 1061 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills, followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
