AGAWAM – Joanne C. (Belville) DeMassini, 73, of Meadowbrook Manor died Tuesday in Baystate Medical Center. Joanne was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Raymond and Bertha (Huckins) Bellville. She lived in Longmeadow most of her life before moving to Agawam 12 years ago. She worked in Health Care for many years and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. She leaves her loving husband of 54 years Frank DeMassini; two daughters Linda Simone and her husband Edward of Feeding Hills, Marie DeMassini of Taunton; a son Michael and his wife Darlene of New Bedford; a brother Dwight Bellville of Westfield; a sister Lois Lackman of West Springfield and eight grandchildren Angeline, Jonathon, Jennifer, Tiffany, Melissa, Michael Jr., Nathan and Ashley. She was a very caring and loving person, one that liked to laugh. We truly will miss her. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 9:00am with Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00am followed by burial in Agawam Center Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.
