1955 – 2022

Springfield – JoAnne (Gore) Dittbenner, 67 died peacefully Saturday morning at home surrounded by her loving family.  JoAnne was born in Springfield the daughter of the late Howard and Lucille (Hirt) Gore.  She and her late husband Donald were loyal Springfield Falcon Hockey fans and longtime member of their booster club.  She was a devoted Pittsburg Steelers Fan, loved bingo, scratch tickets and above all, she loved spending time with family.  She also volunteered at St. Thomas School's "Pennies for Presents" program for many years.  Her husband Donald died in 2017 and her beloved son-in-law Brian Malone died in 2020. She leaves a son Todd Frazer, his wife Tina; a daughter Dawn Frazer-Malone; two brothers Howard Gore, Brian Gore; sister Janice Croze and her husband Jeff; grandchildren Alicia, Lukis, Donevin and Maeleigh; nephew Christopher and her fur babies Bertha and Leo.  A private funeral will be held with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
