John E. Berry, 76, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Edward and Angela (Durfee) Berry, he grew up in Springfield and attended the former Springfield Trade High School. He lived in Chicopee for over twenty years.  John worked as a self-employed electrician for many years and enjoyed fixing things and being a handiman.  He was also an army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He leaves two sons, Shawn Berry and his wife, Shelley Mather of Southampton, Joseph Berry of Henrico, VA, a daughter and her husband, Jennifer A. and James Cauley of Agawam, his longtime companion, Linda Seibold of Chicopee, her son and his wife, Brian and Kara Seibold of Springfield, two brothers, Edward Berry of Montana, Michael Berry of New York, a sister, Cynthia Lemire of Lacona, NY, eight grandchildren, Aiden Cauley, Caitlin Cauley, Dylan Berry, Rebecca, Brandon, Jeffrey, Brianna and Derrick Seibold, three great-grandchildren, Giulianna, Camden and Myles Seibold and nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be Friday at 10am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
