Obituary

John Louis Bryant left this fine Earth to recommence his dancing days with his "Souze" on June 19, 2019.  John was born and raised in Springfield, in 1943, until settling in Feeding Hills for the past 52 years.  He graduated from Technical High School in 1962.  John started his career as a draftsman at Milton Bradley before becoming a mechanical engineer and working at American Bosch and Hasbro. John was dedicated to his loving wife, Saundra (Vigneault) Bryant, who was his High School sweetheart and whom he was happily married to for 47 years.  He was extremely proud of his two sons, John "Tony" Bryant of Feeding Hills, and his wife Lisa (White) Bryant, and, Tim Bryant of Houston, TX.  His three grandchildren, Kayla and her husband Shaun, Adam, and Kyle, will be dearly missed.  John also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Connor and Jaxson. John was an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoyed boating and fishing, camping in York Beach, ME, and loved to watch golf.  John was a proud member of AFS, and loved his 'kids', Charles from France and Linda from Scotland.  And boy, did he ever enjoy his Seagram's 7 nightcaps. John was the son of his loving parents, Martin Bryant and Josephina (Garelli) Bryant, from Springfield, who predeceased him.  He leaves behind two brothers, William Bryant, and his wife Donna, and Robert Bryant.  He is predeceased by his three sisters, Rosie, Mary, and Norma and two brothers, Martin and George. The funeral will be held at the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME Tuesday at 11:00am followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
