John F. Frappier
1946 – 2013

WEST SPRINGFIELD – John F. Frappier, 67, passed away Monday after a long battle with illness. Born in Westfield, the son of the late Lawrence and Hazel Frappier, he has lived in West Springfield since 1961. He retired in 2003 from Fathers and Sons Car Dealerships, where he worked as an Auto Body Expert. He had previously worked at Lagonet Auto Body, Arnold's Auto Body and Sarat Ford. He was a longtime member of the Hampshire County Radio Club, the Academy of Model Aeronautics-Radio Control Club and the Westfield Sportsmen Club. He leaves his wife of 32 years Joan M. (Longo) Frappier; two sons Christopher and John; a daughter Laura; a sister Barbara Soto; two brothers Robert and Raymond Frappier; his stepchildren and their spouses, James and Pamela Largay, Paula and Michael Larouche, Michael and Melissa Largay, Kenneth and Gladys Largay, John and Teresa Largay and his beloved grandchildren. He was a very active hobbyist and loved life. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday at 9:00am with Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
