John D. Kelley

1961 – 2023

Agawam – John David Kelley, 62, died unexpectedly on April 26, 2023, at his place of employment, He had just turned 62 on March 1 ^st .  Born in Turners Falls, Ma; John lived in Shelborne Falls and grew up in Gill, where he graduated from Turners Falls High School.  John worked for 22 Years as a Foreman in a local papermill, then drove Trucks with his father and brother for his brother's Trucking Company, "Kelley Trucking".  He moved to Agawam when he met Bernadette 20 Years ago and became a Truck Mechanic for Sullivan Trucking Company, Boston Trailer and M&M Transport.  John was a simple man.  When he wasn't at work, he would work on his vehicles at home or play games on his Xbox; He was an avid player (Sharp boar).  He loved Rock-n-Roll; AC/DC, Rolling Stones and Linkin Park, etc.  He loved Apple Pie, Steak & Potatoes and his late grandmother's quick dinner rolls (of which he missed).  He also loved picking Apple Blossoms from the roadside to bring home to Bernadette every year (which she will miss dearly).  John leaves behind his wife Bernadette Beaudry-Zielinski, Stepdaughter Mackenzie Beaudry, Stepson, Zackory Zielinski and Step Granddaughter (9-Month-Old) Aurora Jane, three sister-In-laws; Juanita Alicea and her husband John and their two Kids Jonathan & Jenna, Angela Hottin and her husband Mike and Melissa Carattini and her husband Robert, and his mother-in-law Marlene Carattini.  He also leaves behind his daughter Kathryn Kelley, his mother Margaret Kelley and his two sisters Nancy Kelley and Susan Everett.  He was predeceased by his father Edward Kelley and his brother Mark Kelley.  A private Funeral was held at The Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home with burial at the convenience of the family.
