Joseph A. Dubuc, 56, of Houston, TX died 1/17/14 at home after a courageous battle with Leukemia.
Joe was born and raised in Springfield, MA on March 3, 1957 to Joseph and Mary Dubuc .
Joe graduated from Cathedral H.S. in 1975 and earned his B.S. degree from Western New England College in 1979. Joe excelled in running at CHS and played collegiate tennis.
His passion of athletics especially cycling continued throughout his life and approached his cancer diagnosis like a marathon star.
After moving to Houston in 1980, Joe established a successful career in real estate earning CPM and CSM designations. His most recent position was Vice President at Tanglewood Properties in Houston.
Joe leaves his loving wife of 26 years Patty Bender and daughters Rachel Dubuc of Portland, OR and Joanna Dubuc of Houston, TX.
He is also survived by his parents, Joseph and Mary Dubuc of Agawam, MA, his brother Michael (Sue) Dubuc of Redmond, WA and sister Kathleen (Jeff) King of Nashville, TN, as well as a host of relatives and friends in the MA area.
Services commemorating Joe's life will be held on Saturday, January 25 at two o'clock at the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive Houston, TX. A separate family event will be held in Springfield, MA at a later date.
