Joseph Michael Kazalski, 64, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Noble Hospital. Born in Holyoke, he lived in Chicopee before moving to Blandford in 2009. Joseph was a math teacher at the Westover Job Corps Center where he taught algebra. Previously he taught at Mater Dolorosa School in Holyoke. He received his bachelors degree from Westfield State University and his masters degree in education from American International College. He was an avid fisherman and had worked part-time for many years at the Stop & Shop in Chicopee. He was also active at Holy Family Church in Russell. He leaves his wife, Gladys Teresa (Ramos) Kazalski, two sons, Christopher Kazalski of Chicopee, Joseph Daniel Gabriel Kazalski of Blandford, three daughters, Laura Mercier of Pennsylvania, Heidi Dean of Virginia, Charlotte Crystal Kazalski of Blandford, his parents, Joseph E. and Betty (Wright) Kazalski of Chicopee, a sister, Evelyn Beaulieu of Chicopee, and six grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday at 10am from the CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb Street with a Mass in St. Theresa's Church at 11. The burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa, all in South Hadley. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm.
