Agawam – Joseph L. Dubuc, 92, died peacefully Sunday afternoon at Baystate Medical Center. Joe was born in Springfield, the son of the late Albert & Laurencia Dubuc. He attended Tech High School in Springfield and has lived in Agawam for the past 25 years. He worked as a carpenter for the local Lathers & Carpenter Union for many years and retired as vice president from J&M Partitions. Joe served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and later with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks Club in Springfield and participated in the Senior Olympics earning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in racquetball and body building. He also enjoyed playing billiards with friends at the Agawam Senior Center. Besides his parents Joe was predeceased by his wife Mary (Moynihan) Dubuc, a son Joseph Dubuc and a brother Albert Dubuc. He leaves his son Michael of Port St. Lucie, FL.; daughter Kathy King (Jeff) of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren Jason, Justin, Rachel and Joanna Dubuc, and Katie King; and a great grandson Beckham Dubuc. He also leaves his brothers George and Marshall and sister Claudia Richardson. A private service will be held in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
