Joseph and Lucille Brosseau

Chicopee – The funerals for Joseph, 95, and Lucille (Lafleur) Brosseau, 103, will be held at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00am followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley.  Joseph died December 30, 2013 and Lucille died on November 16, 2017 at Heritage Hall South in Agawam.  Joseph worked as a supervising inspector at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Connecticut and later as a foreman for Allied Fire Protection in Springfield until his retirement in 1998.  Lucille was a devoted homemaker to her family and showered them with her love and affection.  She worked at F.W. Sickles in Chicopee for several years and briefly for Renwell in South Hadley.  Joseph and Lucille were both born in Holyoke and lived in Chicopee for most of their lives.  They were longtime communicants of St. Rose de Lima Church.  They leave their children Joseph Brosseau Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Wellington, Florida, Elaine Lachapelle of Easthampton, and Janet Cameron and her husband Wayne of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina; six grandchildren David and Joe Brosseau, Kathleen Riolino, Michael Lachapelle, Denise Donahue and Paul Cameron; ten great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Sidney, Joey B., Matt, Katharine, Joey R., Gianna, Ashley, Jack and Patrick.  Joseph was predeceased by his son Robert and sister Doris Tremblay.  Lucille was predeceased by Joseph, her loving husband of 73 years, her son Robert and her siblings Doris Possum, Leo and Roland Lefleur.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For more details, please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
