West Springfield – Joseph W. Parillo, 64, died peacefully Saturday evening, August 24, 2024 surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Springfield, son of the late Luigi and Bernadette (Landry) Parillo, and has lived in West Springfield most of his life. A 1978 graduate of West Springfield High School, he received his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Accounting from Western New England College.  He started his career with National Envelope Corporation and retired from Associated Builders.  He was a longtime member of the Dante Club and Verdi Club and loved to spend time with family and friends.  He leaves his wife, Patti (Hurley) Parillo, two sons,  Joseph and Christopher Parillo, a brother and his wife, Luigi and Bridget Parillo, two sisters and their husbands, Savina and Larry Cummings, Bernadette and Brian Berchulski, an uncle and his wife, Michael and Laura Parillo, an aunt, Rosa Russo along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street on  Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  A private graveside service will be held on Saturday.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
