Josephine M. Corley
WEST SPRINGFIELD-Josephine M. "Jennie" "BaBa" Corley, 91 of Deltona, FL formerly from West Springfield entered into internal rest on Wednesday, June 1st. Born in West Springfield she was the daughter of the late John & Mary Mihalski. She lived in West Springfield most of her life, moving to Florida with her Daughter Peggy and son-in-law John in July 2004. She was a World War II veteran serving as a medical corpsman. She retired from Rainbow Girl Coat Factory after 20 years with the company in 1986. She is predeceased by her husband Patrick M. Corley, her two sisters, Ann & Kay and two brothers Joe & Bob. She leaves behind 3 children, Patrick Corley & his wife Vicki, Peggy Hanjack & her husband John and Michael Corley & his wife Judy. The most precious joys of her life were her beloved pet Morgan, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and most recently in the month of May was blessed with 2 great, great grandchildren, Makenzie and Liam. She was also blessed with all of her friends from Florida Lutheran where she resided. The funeral will be Monday at 9am from West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church at 10 am. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
