Joshua D. Hicks

West Springfield – Joshua D. Hicks, 27, died suddenly Wednesday evening surrounded by his loving family.  Joshua was born in Holyoke and has lived in West Springfield his entire life. He was a 2009 graduate of West Springfield High School and received his degree from the National Aviation Academy.  He worked in the Sales Department at the family business, Eddie's Furniture in Holyoke and was a longtime member of the Bible Baptist Church.  Joshua leaves his parents Job and Martha (Rogers) Hicks; brother Job N. Hicks and his wife Kristen, two sisters Sarah Gasparini and her husband Anthony; Bessy Hicks and her boyfriend Jonathan Lemme.  He also leaves his grandmother Alice (Daire) Hicks and several nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday, Nov. 21 ^st at 11:00am.  Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home service Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00am.
