Joyce E. Weibel

1935 – 2024

FLORIDA -  Joyce E. (Gazar) Weibel of Punta Gorda, passed away peacefully on May 22,2024. She grew up in Feeding Hills and graduated from Agawam High School in 1953. She enjoyed a long career as an accountant, highlighted by her many successful years at WWLP. She was an avid golfer and a championship bowler. She was a member of both Edgewood Golf Course and Shaker Farms Country Club. She was also active in both Zonta and the Visiting Nurses Association. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Weibel. She will be sadly missed by her children Lora (Silvia) Pfundheller (Silvia), Debra (Silvia) Szostkiewicz, and Scott Silvia; her 9 grandchildren; her brother Joseph Gazar of Feeding Hills, and her sisters Gail Dunham (Warren) of West Springfield, and Leanne Kellerman of Agawam.
