Obituary

Juan Guillermo Rios, 33, passed away on March 5,  2021. Due to foreseen circumstances, Juan, also known as Juancho, or Squancho passed peacefully as his mother Ana Monica Rios, father Guillermo Rios, sister Luz Garcia, brother-in-law Rafariel Garcia, and loving uncle Nicolas Castaño held onto him until his last breath. Even though we all have come to the realization that this day was inevitably going to occur, no amount of preparation could have saved us from when our biggest fear became a reality. Its hard to fully comprehend what type of tragedy has occurred to such a young man who had so much ahead of him. He was so much to so many people who loved him dearly and played a large role in everyone's lives. For his dad, he was the best mechanic in the world and the reason for living. For his sister he was the most annoying little brother who always managed to tell her the truth. For his nieces and nephew, he was the corniest bully who constantly teased them for uneven eyebrows and mustaches, despite his own. For his uncle he was the best coworker who tagged along with him through so many adventures and taught him so much. And last but not least, for his mother, he was her greatest joy and the sparkle in her eye. Nonetheless, we have and always will cherish his unique qualities, beautiful smile, and undeniable sense of humor that lightened even the darkest moods. May god bless his soul, for he is now in a better place where pain is no longer felt and he can finally feel free and at peace. Juan leaves behind a son, Adrien Rios, nieces Isabella DeJesus, Zashaly Garcia, and nephew Sebastian Garcia, as well as a loving aunt Rosa Elena Castano, uncles, and cousins in Colombia, New York City and Florida. Juanchito Papito, we will always love, remember and will have you in our hearts although a piece of our heart has died along with you.
