Juan B. Rodriguez, 77, died Sunday at home. He was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico and has lived in Springfield for many years. He was a Pastor for 47 years, opening four churches. He was Pastor of his last church, Iglesia Bautista La Nueva Jerusalem Church for 28 years. He was a devoted Pastor, husband, father and grandfather. He was a pillar of the community and spiritual Pastor who will be missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his wife Raquel. He leaves two sons Jose of Westfield and Juan Jr. of Springfield, a brother Antonio of FL, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The funeral home service will be Friday at 10 am at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
